Tesla Powerwall can be installed with a new solar PV system or added to suitable existing solar panels. It can store electricity generated during the day so that it remains available for use later.

The position must provide safe working space and continued access for maintenance. It should not obstruct doors, parking, shelving, appliances, paths or equipment that the household regularly needs to reach.
External positions also need to be selected with the wall condition, surrounding space and local exposure in mind. A location that appears convenient may not be suitable if access becomes difficult or the cable route is unnecessarily long.
